Milling metals

Although currently in the trial operation stage, metal drilling is also possible by using carbide bits or single-crystal diamond bits. The photo shows actual metal cutting. The point is that a very compact wet space is installed on the cutting stage. It is difficult to see in the photo, but this is a Ti-Fe alloy about 1 mm thick being cut in a kerosene environment.

Metal cutting with the Geomill326 is still in its infancy, but we believe it can be used for a variety of applications in the future. If you are interested, please contact us.
